I wanted to write about a site that I found that allows one to inquire in a message board style format and/or enter a chat room to ask for assistance from others in helping find your United Kingdom Roots. Roots Chat has people that will do free lookups and answer most questions. I have found them to be most helpful, kind and friendly. Please remember that when you are asking for a look-up from a volunteer that they are doing this on their free time and also provide as much information that you have collected on the individual. This will help them to spend their time more wisely, instead of looking for things that you already have in your file. Check it out and have fun.
